KUWAIT'S HEALTH MINISTER CLAIMS THAT THE COUNTRTY'S PANDEMIC EXPERIENCE WAS SUCCESS

Kuwait City: Kuwait's response to the Covid pandemic has proven to be a successful and outstanding model, according to Health Minister Dr. Khalid Al Sayed. His statement came at the end of the 56th regular session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, which was held at the League of Arab States' General Secretariat in Cairo. Kuwait has previously shared its expertise coping with the outbreak at World Health Organization gatherings. 


Many Arab countries, he said, had dealt with the disease before. Kuwait's ambition of establishing an Arab Health Organization was also discussed by the Health Minister. The creation of such an organisation would be a critical component of the global system. He added that Covid demonstrated the need of the international community working together to combat the disease.
