KUWAIT TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF LARGEST INTERNATIONAL HUB FOR PETROLEUM RESEARCH

Kuwait City: The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation is moving ahead with work to begin the construction of the largest international center for petroleum research. The corporation expects construction of the center to begin by the end of this year and start operations in the 2025-26 financial year. The detailed plan of the center and the tender documents have been finalized, sources said.


The Center aims to excel in research, development and technology in the oil sector and to overcome the technological challenges facing the country. The center will cover an area of ​​250,800 square meters in the northeastern part of Ahmadi City. The center will have 28 technology laboratories and 300 state-of-the-art scientific equipment.
