DURING RAMADAN, THE KUWAITI MUNICIPALITY SETS THE SCHEDULE FOR ROAD SWEEPING AND WASTE COLLECTION

Kuwait City: From the start of the blessed month of Ramadan, Kuwait Municipality Director-General Engineer Ahmed Al-Manfouhi issued an administrative decision to close restaurants, cafes, and similar establishments during the specified fasting hours and reopen two hours before the official iftar time, the Maghreb call to prayer.


In public interest the Kuwait Municipality said it is keen about the safety and health of cleaning workers due to the risks of exposure to hot temperatures during fasting, Al-Manfouhi issued an administrative circular in which he emphasized all hygiene departments of the public and road works in the Municipality branches in all governorates follow up the implementation of hygiene contracts concluded with cleaning companies and abide by the working hours set for daily roads sweeping works and garbage collection.
