CONSUMERS MUST PAY THEIR BILLS AND RE-CONNECT THE WATER SUPPLY

Kuwait City: Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy Ali Al-Mousa has directed the Ministry of Electricity and Water's Customer Services Sector to re-connect water service to customers who had their water service interrupted due to non-payment of bills. According to sources, the minister made the decision after the affected customers signed a vow to pay their debts before the holy month of Ramadan began.


According to sources, the minister also issued a directive suspending water supply disconnection for defaulters throughout Ramadan, signalling that the process will restart after the Eid Al-Fitr festival. Concerned customers should take advantage of the programme by making payment promises to re-connect their water supply to their houses, according to sources.
