Kuwait City: The residency of any expatriate who has been out of the country for more than six months, except for domestic workers, will not be revoked, officials said. This was announced by Brigadier General Tawheed Al Khandari, Director General of the Media Department of the Ministry of Interior and Relations and Security, according to a local newspaper.

The decision was made when expatriates were stranded in Kuwait during the Covid epidemic. According to the latest report, domestic workers will have their residency revoked if they stay outside the country for more than six months.
