Kuwait City: Maryam Al-Aqeel, the chair of the Civil Service Commission, has issued a circular deleting the "departure notification requirement" for paying end-of-service indemnities to expatriate employees in the government sector.

According to Al-circular Aqeel's to government agencies, the CSC decision to cancel the requirement to produce a notice to leave the country came in implementation of the Constitutional Court's ruling, which stated that the end of service was paid to non-Kuwaiti employees as soon as the service ended. Al-Aqeel urged government entities to commence settlement procedures and pay the end-of-service gratuity in light of the CSC ruling.
