ABOUT 45 ABANDONED CARS WERE FOUND IN FIVE DAYS IN KUWAIT, LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST THE VEHICLE OWNERS

Kuwait City: Authorities said vehicles and scraps obstructing the road in Haveli and Salmiya areas have been removed. The inspection, led by municipal officials, removed several cars and roadblocks from the roadway area and roundabouts. Authorities said the inspections would be intensified in the coming days. 


In the last five days, 45 abandoned cars were found in Salmiya and Haveli areas alone. Legally, municipal officials had previously posted notices on such vehicles. The cars were moved to the municipal garage after the crash and the vehicles were not removed after the notice period expired. Municipality officials said they would take legal action against the owners of the seized vehicles.
