THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR WARNS OF LOW VISIBILITY DURING DUST STORM

Kuwait City: The Ministry of the Interior urged everyone, especially motorists and mariners, to exercise caution due to the shifting weather conditions and Tuesday's dust storm. According to a statement from the Ministry's General Directorate of Security Relations and Media, the storm restricted visibility on some routes across Kuwait this evening. 


The weather for the last couple of days is dusty throughout the country. It is due to the onset of the ‘Serayat’ season which begins in mid-April. Slight rain and thunder is also expected on Thursday and Friday, according to the weather department

The Ministry advised anybody who might face a security or traffic problem to seek help via the emergency hotline 112. Seafarers are advised to inform the Coastguards of their trips beforehand via the phone number 1880888 or seek help during their trips if need be, according to the statement
