MP DEMANDS INFORMATION ON KEY OFFICIALS AT KUWAIT CREDIT BANK

Kuwait City: MP Hamdan Al-Azmi has requested information from Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs Abdulwahab Al-Rashid on the names, qualifications, and experience of top executives at Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB), as well as copies of decisions on their advancement. Al-Azmi also requested a list of workers occupying acting monitoring positions, the number of applicants to monitoring vacancies at the bank from 2019 to date, a list of applicants who passed the interviews and those who were rejected, including reasons for rejection, the criteria for selecting successful applicants, whether these criteria are in accordance with Civil Service Commission (CSC) regulations, whether any of the rejected applicants filed complaints about the results, and a list of applicants who passed the interviews. 


MP Badr Nasser Al-Humaidi also forwarded queries to Al-Rashid about the recruitment of an Arab as legal consultant at Kuwait General Administration for Customs (KGAC). He asked if KGAC published an advertisement for this job, prioritizing nationals as per the Constitution. Al-Humaidi asked if others applied for the job. If yes, he requested for report on their experience, qualifications, names and nationalities. He also inquired why the job was not given to a Kuwaiti who holds a masters’s degree in Law and registered in the recruitment platform of the CSC.
