MANGOES FROM INDIA ARE IN HIGH DEMAND, INDIA'S MANGO EXPORTS TO KUWAIT HAVE SURPASSED $ 2 MILLION

Kuwait City:  The Indian Embassy in Kuwait organized the Indian Mango Online Buyer Seller Meet in association with the Indian Business Network, the Mahrata Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture and the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority. The ceremony was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador Sibi George. "Kuwait is one of the best markets for Indian mangoes and exports an average of $ 2 million from India to Kuwait," he said. 


Four per cent of India's mango exports go to Kuwait. "As we celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, we want at least one box of Indian mangoes to reach every home," he said. Alphonsa mangoes from India are very popular in Kuwait. Officials from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh and importers from Kuwait attended the event.
