KUWAIT CANCER SUFFERERS FUND HAS HELPED ALMOST 5000 CANCER PATIENTS

Kuwait City: The Cancer Patients' Fund of the Kuwait Society for Smoking and Cancer has revealed its figures. Since its creation in 1994, the Cancer Patients' Fund has been able to serve 5,000 patients, according to Jamal al-Salah, director. A total of 1.95 million dinars was raised voluntarily for cancer sufferers.


As Ramadan approached, Al-Salah said there was a lot of support for fundraising. As long as contributors provide cash, the job of reaching out to additional patients in need can continue. "This assistance will meet their necessities and relieve their family of the twin weight of cancer," he added.
