EID HOLIDAYS, 2,800 FLIGHTS VIA KUWAIT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Kuwait City: The General Administration of Civil Aviation has made special preparations for the Eid al-Fitr holidays. The aim of the administration is to facilitate travel through Kuwait International Airport. It is estimated that 2,800 flights will be operated via Kuwait Airport during the 10-day holiday. The airport handles 352,000 arrivals and departures.


The Eid holiday lasts from April 28 to May 7. About 60 per cent of the total passengers are from Kuwait to various countries. Of the 1,400 airlines, 208,000 depart from Kuwait. As many as 144,000 people will fly to Kuwait on the same flights. Dubai, Istanbul, Jeddah, Cairo and Doha are the most popular destinations for travelers.
