Kuwait City: The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is preparing for the Eid Al-Fitr holidays with a variety of new measures aimed at easing airport movement during the 10-day Eid Al-Fitr holidays, when 352,000 passengers are scheduled to utilise Kuwait International Airport, according to figures. According to statistics on passenger and aircraft movement expected from Kuwait International Airport during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays, which run from April 28 to May 7, about 60% of total passenger traffic will be outbound, with 208 thousand passengers on 1,400 flights compared to 144,000 inbound passengers on the same number of flights.
