EXPATS AGED 60 AND UP ARE ON THE DECLINE IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The number of expatriates aged 60 and more declined by 8% in 2021, or 6,533, as the total number reached around 74,900, down from 81,500 at the end of 2020. The number of expatriates aged 60 to 64 years old declined by 4,317, totaling around 44,270 at the end of 2021 compared to 48,580 at the end of 2020. The number of expatriates aged 65 and older declined by 2,216, with a total of around 30,720 at the end of 2021 compared to 32,930 at the end of 2020.
