MINISTRY OF EDUCATION PLANS TO HIRE 645 TEACHERS FROM JORDAN AND PALESTINE

Kuwait City: After a three-year pause caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, the Ministry of Education is getting ready to sign contracts with instructors from Jordan and Palestine to help cover the school shortage.  


The Coordination and Follow-up Department of the public education sector has identified its needs to hire non- Kuwaiti educational staff, in the context of organizing and providing the requirements for the next academic year (2022- 2023), especially with plans to open new schools in the near future. The sources indicated the public education sector has addressed the Undersecretary of the ministry Dr. Ali Al-Yaqoub regarding the need to hire non-Kuwaiti male and female teachers for the following specializations — English, French, mathematics, science, chemistry, physics, biology and geology.
