KUWAITI WORKERS OBSERVE LABOR DAY WITHOUT HOLIDAY

Kuwait City: Kuwait celebrates International Labor Day. This time Labor Day comes at a time when the union's demand that Labor Day be made an official holiday and the political moves on the issue continue. Ahmed Akhla Al NC, Head of the General Federation of Kuwait Workers, said:


They are remembered for their role in building and protecting the motherland as well as in creating an effective and constructive society that embodies values. He added that equality and justice exist far from domination and exploitation. Mohammed al-Khandari, secretary of the Equate Petrochemical Company's trade union, reiterated his demand that Labor Day be declared a holiday.
