KUWAIT HAS ANNOUNCED NEW ANTI-CORRUPTION MEASURES

Kuwait City: The National Anti-Corruption Authority (NASA) has announced harsh measures to preserve public property and combat corruption. In the last two years, there have been 728 communications about corruption. Nasha stated that 101 of them were clearly objective. According to NASA's annual report, 209 complaints for non-compliance with formal and objective requirements were filed in 2021. 


According to NAZA Commission Chairman Abdul Aziz Al Ibrahim, NASH aspires to provide a conducive political, economic, and social climate for the implementation of economic reform and development goals, while integrating laws with integrity and openness. He went on to say that the authority was striving to protect the country's public finances and assets and prevent their misuse, as well as improving anti-corruption procedures and increasing social opposition with the help of government and private entities.
