BANKS CHARGE A DINAR FEE FOR ONLINE TRANSFERS

Kuwait City: From next month, local banks will charge a transfer fee of 1 dinar for all online transfers, including payroll transfers. Local banks have informed customers that from June 1, 2022, customers will be charged one dinar for transfers to corporate accounts and 500 fils for transfers to personal accounts.


Online transfers through mobile apps are also subject to a fee. International transfers cost six dinars. Meanwhile, there are reports that some banks have announced that they will not charge for payments made through online links.
