ACCORDING TO ITALIAN AMBASSADOR, THE SECOND BATCH OF EUROFIGHTERS WILL ARRIVE IN KUWAIT BEFORE SUMMER

Kuwait City: The next batch of Eurofighter aircraft will arrive in Kuwait before the start of summer, says Italian Ambassador Carlo Balducci. However, he did not give an exact date. He was speaking at an Italian cultural event organized by the International Women's Group in Kuwait in collaboration with the Italian Embassy. Balducci said the embassy processes 200 visas per day. The Italian External Visa Office now operates six days a week.


Meanwhile, Kuwait Airways will launch three flights a week to Milan and Rome in the next few weeks, the ambassador said. The country is ready to receive tourists. The Italian government has eased restrictions on the Covid virus. Balducci shared the hope that the exemption of Kuwaitis from Schengen visas would move forward smoothly after talks begin in the European Union.
