MAJOR AL-SAYEED SAYS THERE WILL BE NO MERCY FOR THOSE WHO ENDANGER THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE; TRAFFIC CHECKS TIGHTENED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Major General Jamal Al Sayeg, Assistant Under Secretary, Traffic and Operations, Ministry of Interior, has said that traffic inspections in industrial areas will continue to be tightened in collaboration with various authorities. He added that these areas have become centers of serious violations. Authorities were conducting inspections in Sulaybia and Ardia. Major al-Sayeg said there would be no mercy for those who endanger the lives of the people.


A search of Sulaybia and Ardia found a total of 950 violations. 19 vehicles were seized. Of these, 14 vehicles have judicial warrants. Six minors were arrested for driving. Maj. Abdullah Buhassan, PR officer, General Traffic Division, said inspectors at the Ministry of Commerce found 83 violations. Eighteen people have been arrested for violating residency and employment laws.
