KUWAIT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES TWO CANCER REMOVAL PROCEDURES

Kuwait City: General Surgery Consultant Dr. Abdullah al-Haddad said that Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital has successfully conducted two surgeries to remove malignant tumours. The initial surgery was performed to remove malignancies from the breast and colon. The medical team removed the tumours from the rectum and the uterus in the second procedure.


According to Abdullah al-Haddad, both patients were released from the hospital in good health. He stated that technical advancement and endoscopy have greatly simplified procedures. Endoscopies should be performed on everyone over the age of 45 to look for disorders of the large intestine and rectum. Endoscopy, according to Al-Haddad, is quite safe with little complications.
