30,233 TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS DETECTED IN ONE WEEK IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City:  A search of six governorates across the country found 30,233 violations, according to the traffic department. According to the Directorate General of Traffic, 56 minors were arrested for driving while intoxicated from May 7 to 13. The inspection was conducted in all the six governorates of the country. The inspection was overseen by Jamal al-Sayeg, undersecretary of the traffic operations division at the interior ministry. 


A total of 30,233 violations were detected. To arrest nine people who were on the wanted list. Fifteen vehicles on the wanted list were seized. One person has been arrested for possession of drugs. He was referred to the Judiciary for further action. The General Traffic Department said that everyone should abide by the traffic rules for the safety of road users.
