WORK COMPLETION RATE AT NEW MATERNITY HOSPITAL APPROACHES 65%

Kuwait City: According to the project contract, the Ministry of Public Works stated that the completion rate of the new maternity facility has surpassed 65 percent. The hospital is being developed on 53,395 square metres in the Al-Sabah Health District of the Capital Governorate, with a total building size of 347,656 square metres including a central service station.


According to the Ministry, the hospital has 789 beds, 460 patient rooms, and 198 intensive care units for premature babies, as well as 27 operating theatres, 58 delivery rooms, 74 outpatient clinics, and a parking lot that can accommodate 1,219 cars, as well as two basements at the outpatient building that can accommodate 532 cars.
