Kuwait City: On Monday, flights to and from Kuwait International Airport were temporarily halted owing to a dust storm that reduced visibility throughout Kuwait. The current weather conditions have hampered flights, according to Imad Al-Jalawi, Deputy Director General for Air Navigation Services at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Flight schedules will be reassessed, and regular aviation will resume once visibility improves, according to Al-Jalawi. He went on to say that Kuwait is currently experiencing low visibility as well as severe gusts of more than 50 km/h.
