WEATHER FORCED POSTPONEMENT OF THE EMIR OF KUWAIT CUP FINAL

Kuwait City: Due to terrible weather caused by a sandstorm that rocked Kuwait, the Kuwait Football Association decided to postpone the Amir Cup final between Salmiya and Kazma, which was set at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, by a week.


The final match is set for next Monday, May 23.

The last match of the 60th edition of the Emir of Kuwait Cup, which marks the official end of the season, will feature Kazma and Salmiya.

Kazma has won the title seven times, the most recent in the 2010-2011 season, compared to two for Salmiya, the most recent of which was 21 years ago when he defeated Kazma in the final of the 2000-2001 season.
