KUWAIT'S FIBRE OPTIC NETWORK IS ON ITS WAY TO COVERING THE ENTIRE COUNTRY

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Communications has announced that it has almost completed the planning  for the expansion, installation and connection of fiber optic networks in all parts of the country. The Ministry of Communications has been in touch with the Kuwait Municipality regarding the third phase of the fiber-optic network project.


He requested that land be allocated in the border areas  around the Mubarak port, as well as in agricultural areas such as Zubia, Nuwaseeb, Salmi, Abdali, Wafra and Kabd. The ministry also pointed out that there are no telephone exchanges in these areas. The area of ​​sites that the Ministry wants to allow is 2,000 square meters in Salmi, Nuwaseeb and Subia. In the third phase, the fiber optic network will reach 90 regions covering about 100,000 plots, including other parts of the country.
