TIK TOK HAS BECOME THE MOST POPULAR APPLICATION IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Tik Tok, the video sharing app, has become the most popular app in the country this year. Tik ​​Tok's achievement is behind YouTube. This is stated in the report released by the Public Authority for Communications and Information Technology (CITRA). 


Netflix came in third, the Twitch TV app in fourth, Twitter Video in fifth, and apps like Shahid App, Amazon Video, Dailymotion and Facebook in the top ten. During the same period, Facebook, the Tumblr app, and Twitter came in second and third, respectively, as the most used social media platform. 

The Covid epidemic and lockdown are thought to be the main reasons for Tick Tock's popularity. Tik ​​tok videos became more popular when the whole world was locked down after Covid.
