KUWAIT CABINET REITERATED THAT MONKEY FEVER HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The cabinet has clarified that not a single case of monkey fever has been confirmed in the country. The cabinet meeting assessed the health conditions related to the spread of monkeypox virus (monkey fever) in several countries around the world. There was a discussion about you taking precautionary and preventive measures to prevent the spread of the virus in the country. 


The Assistant Minister of Public Health, Ministry of Health, Dr. S.K. Butaina Abdullah Al Mudhaf and Director of the Department of Public Health Dr. Muhammad Al Saidan explained. The Council noted that the Ministry of Health and related government agencies are taking all necessary precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the disease. The ministry said the authorities were taking all possible precautions to protect the health of citizens and residents.
