Kuwait City: In light of the announcement made by Minister of Justice and State Minister for Integrity Enhancement Jamal Al-Jalawi, an electronic platform will be launched soon to amend the conditions of workers who were subjected to circumstances resulting from the suspension of some facilities and companies as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic's repercussions.He emphasised that this platform will only be for workers registered with private-sector companies and establishments, and that it will not include domestic workers with Article 20 visas. In terms of the platform's launch date, Al-Jalawi stated that it will occur soon after the completion of some procedures in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior. He reiterated his desire to control and regulate the labour market, as well as to fill any shortages that exist, particularly in the craft and professional sectors.
