KUWAIT HAS ISSUED A WARNING ABOUT SCARCITY OF DOMESTIC EMPLOYEES

Kuwait City: Domestic employees will be in limited supply in the near future, according to experts in the sector. For domestic worker recruitment, the Ministry of Commerce has established a maximum fee of 890 dinars. The cost of the swim will include a plane ticket and a PCR check. Owners of recruiting offices claim that this is putting the recruitment system in jeopardy and bringing it to a halt. For the past two years, businesses have been losing a lot of money.


The owners of the employment agency met with Fahad Al Sharian, the Minister of Commerce, to resolve the situation. One of the proprietors, Bassam al-Shammari, said he briefed the minister on the illicit market exploiting the situation. The maximum authorization for domestic worker recruitment in some of Kuwait's surrounding nations is roughly 2000 dinars. It's only 890 dinars here. The cost of recruiting personnel from some nations alone might be as high as 900 dinars. He also stated that businesses must be aware of how much money they are losing when it comes to paying for it, which includes flying tickets.
