INSPECTION AT HAVELI, 157 ABANDONED CARS REMOVED

Kuwait City: The General Clean Line and Road Works Division of the Haveli Municipality Branch conducted field inspections in various parts of the Governorate last month. The inspection was carried out to remove abandoned cars and scraps which may affect the road traffic and obscure public view. Officials inspected the stores to see if they complied with public hygiene regulations.


A total of 157 abandoned cars were removed. 1,498 warning posters were posted. The evacuation included 144 cars, nine boats and four containers. 52 unhygienic offenses were found. Action was taken against three street vendors for non-compliance with public hygiene. The General Clean Line and Road Works Department said inspections would continue to ensure cleanliness in the governorate.
