TRAFFIC INSPECTION, 156 MINORS ARRESTED FOR DRIVING IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Authorities have stepped up traffic inspections in various parts of the country. Home Ministry says 156 minors arrested for driving without driving license They were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution. During the week-long inspections, a total of 23,473 violations were found. These are the figures from June four to ten. 110 vehicles were seized.


As a precautionary measure, 65 people were taken into custody and 23 vehicles were seized. Thirteen people who were on the wanted list were arrested. The inspections were carried out following the instructions of Major General Jamal Al Sayeg, Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs. The home ministry said traffic and safety deployments on the roads would remain tight to control traffic and reduce traffic accidents.
