Kuwait City: MP Mubarak Al-Hajraf addressed questions to Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Muhammad on rumours that some Indian domestic workers arrived in the country with counterfeit police clearance certificates. According to him, when the sponsors of these domestic workers requested for the renewal of their employees' work permits, they were told that the police clearance certificates were false, even though they were stamped by the Kuwait Embassy in India.

He wants to know if the Kuwaiti Embassy in India reported stamp theft, the quantity of stolen stamps if the answer is yes, action done in this regard, and measures to prevent stamp theft in Kuwaiti embassies around the world.

He also asked Minister of Health Dr Khalid Al-Saeed about the decision to transfer patients with infectious diseases to the old Jahra Hospital, and if the risks were taken into consideration as the ward allocated for patients with infectious diseases is near the dialysis unit where the patients have weak immune system.
