ENGINEERING CERTIFICATIONS WILL SOON RECEIVE ACCREDIATION IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower will begin the processes for validating the credentials for 71 professions in the engineering, architectural, and agricultural domains, as well as assistant engineering professions, with the assistance of the Kuwait Society of Engineers. Informed sources claim that as part of a strategy to remove marginal people from the job market, the procedures won't only be about approving credentials; they'll also involve administering examinations in particular areas and professions. 

The interview will be conducted for a variety of specialties and professions, including interior designers and draughtsmen employed in the sectors of electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering. 30,000 non-Kuwaitis were registered in the private sector as technicians, assistant specialists in the natural sciences, and engineers, compared to just 310 Kuwaitis, according to a report by the Public Authority for Civil Information.

In this connection, Faisal Al-Otol, the head of the Kuwait Society of Engineers, emphasised the desire to share with all professional organisations in the nation the experience of certifying non-Kuwaiti engineers and to trade experiences with them in this area. Additionally, according to insiders, the Public Authority for Manpower may see changes in a number of leadership posts in the upcoming weeks as several of them have their terms ending. They disclosed the promotion to senior positions of four current directors, one of whom was a woman and who worked in various departments of the authority.
