Kuwait City: Kuwait deports 10,800 expatriates in six months The figures are from January 1 to June 20. So many people were deported for violating the residency law. Most of the deportees are nominal bachelors living in residential areas such as Jalib Al Shuwaik, Mahboola, Shuwaik Industrial Area, Bneed Al Ghar, Wafra Farms and Abdali Area. Security campaign authorities continue to be strict in all areas.

Sources denied that illegal workers were fleeing Jalib al-Shuwaiq to other areas to escape intense security campaigns. Home Minister Sheikh Ahmed al-Nawaf and Undersecretary Lieutenant General Anwar al-Barjaz inspect the residency offenders' file every day.

Sources said that if the security campaigns continue in the same manner, especially with the resumption of commercial flights at full capacity at the international airport, a significant increase in the number of offenders caught in the next phase is expected.
