KUWAIT IS ABOVE TO APPROVE EXPATRIATE INSPECTION CENTERS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Kuwait City: The Manpower Authority is planning to establish a new approach to relieve the increasing strain on expatriate worker screening facilities. The authority is collaborating with partners to screen expatriates at approved health centers in their home countries. The Authority will carefully consider the proposed mechanism.

According to the sources, if allowed, many respectable centers in the countries of new workers coming to Kuwait would be authorized to conduct medical examinations in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other competent authorities. The authority hopes to avoid the long lines and congestion that have plagued non-resident labor inspection centers for months. It would also eliminate delays in test results and personnel becoming involved in infractions of residency regulations, according to sources.
