SAHEL APPLICATION GAINED TRUST OF THOUSANDS OF USERS

Kuwait City: Dr. Rana Al-Faris, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, stated that the Sahel application has acquired the trust of 584,666 users in just 9 months.


In a tweet, Al-Faris stated that the application performed 1,736,656 services throughout the specified time period. She stated that the app was launched on September 15 with 123 services and has since grown to 220, with the number of government organizations participating in the programe increasing from 12 to 23. 

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior's Public Relations and Security Media Department announced that, as part of the security institution's efforts to assist citizens and residents, and to supplement the services that have been automated, the Information Systems Department, in collaboration with the Residence Affairs Sector, has added and activated two new and exclusive services on the Sahel application. The services include payment of costs for family members joining their spouses and payment of additional domestic work fees. The sponsor can now easily pay these expenses through Sahel.
