CONGESTION AT KUWAIT AIRPORT INCREASED, 30,000 RETURN PASSENGERS PER DAY

Kuwait City: The agencies at the Kuwait International Airport have stepped up their operations as people who went abroad to celebrate the Eid holiday have started returning in large numbers. More than 30,000 people return home every day after holidaying in different countries. Cairo and Alexandria have the most flights to Kuwait with 18 services. 17 flights arrived from Istanbul.


12 flights arrived in Kuwait from Dubai. Sources said that despite the doubling of flights and increased security presence, airport staff have taken necessary measures to cope with the rush and complete the procedures quickly and smoothly. Sources added that due to strict implementation of airport departure and arrival screening and baggage check, passengers were able to complete the procedures without any difficulty.
