MOCI TAKES ACTION TO LIMIT PRICES

Kuwait City: Fahd Al-Shrai'an, Minister of Commerce and Industry, recently announced a number of actions to address the worldwide price increase, including ensuring that food product prices do not increase and prohibiting the export of poultry, vegetable oils, and other essential commodities. From August 1 to October 31, the minister imposed an export embargo on vegetable oils, frozen chicken, and chicken parts.


In the meantime, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition said that the Ahmadi Governorate Inspection Department had conducted an inspection campaign in Al-Khairan Al- Sakina, Al-Nuwaiseeb, and Nuwaiseeb border, in conjunction with Kuwait Municipality.
