TRAFFIC CHECKS TIGHTENED IN KUWAIT, CAMPAIGN IN FOUR REGIONS

Kuwait City: Authorities have tightened traffic control in the country. The Traffic and Operations Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs conducted the campaign in four areas. Strict inspections were carried out in Khaitan, Shuwaik Industrial Area, Kabd and Al Raqqa. Those who drove the vehicle without driving license and residency violators were caught during the inspection. The inspection is on the special instructions of Sheikh Talal Al Khalid, Minister of Defense and also in charge of the Ministry of Interior.


An inspection organized by the Ministry's Traffic and Operations Sector in Khaitan region found 800 violations. Also, non-residents driving vehicles without driving license were arrested. 360 violations were caught in the workshops and garages of Shuwaik. Five vehicles were seized. A total of 85 violations were found in Al Raqqa. 100 vehicles have been seized from Kabd. 940 violations were also found.
