Kuwait City: The vaccination process will begin at these sites on August 10, 2022, from Sunday to Thursday from 3 pm to 8 pm. The Ministry of Health has approved 16 health centres in all health regions to provide the immunisation service against Covid-19. According to the sources, the ministry has designated Abdul Rahman Al- Zayd Health Center in West Mishref to provide vaccination services with the Pfizer vaccine, the first and second doses for children between the ages of 5 and 12, the third booster dose for individuals between the ages of 12 and less than 18 years old, and the fourth booster dose for individuals age 50 and older. The sources added that the other 15 centres will provide the Moderna vaccine doses.

In particular, the sources noted that the allocation of centres coincides with the rise in health awareness and the noticeable turnout during periods before the vaccination campaign that was launched in late December 2020, pointing out that they contributed to reaching positive indicators. The sources also noted that the allocation of centres occurs before the start of the school season in mid-September and before the impending return of some families from abroad.
