WITHOUT AN AIRLINE TICKET, THE MAXIMUM PAY FOR FILPINO DOMESTIC EMPLOYEES IS KD 850

Kuwait City: Fahd Al-Shariaan, Minister of Commerce and Industry as well as Minister of Social Affairs and Community Development, issued a resolution determining the maximum costs for domestic offices to recruit domestic workers without considering airfare.


The ruling indicated that, without regard for the stipulations of Law No. 69 of 2015, the maximum price for the recruitment of domestic workers from the Philippines is 850 dinars and 700 dinars from India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. From African countries, the fee is $500, and the special passport is KD 350. There is no air ticket included. The decision also specifies the penalty for individuals who exceed the maximum limit. After 6 months, the recruitment of personnel will be evaluated.
