Kuwait City: As part of an inspection tour in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Farwaniya, Saeed Al-Azmi, Director of the Audit and Engineering Follow-up Department in the Farwaniya Municipality Branch, announced the closure of five illegal establishments that are commercially exploited in investment properties in the governorate. Al-Azmi stated in a statement to reporters on Monday that the municipality's campaign to discover breaching stores in investment real estate, began this week in collaboration with the Kuwait Fire Force, is still ongoing on a daily basis in all governorates.

He explained that basements in investment real estate have two legal positions, either as car parks or as storage for building inhabitants, suggesting that the crew discovered illegal usage of those basements during its detection today, such as carpentry or storing colours and extremely combustible goods. He stated that the Farwaniya Municipality's supervisory team issued a warning for the unlawful use, adding that the improper use of these basements endangers people's lives, as the ignition of these materials poses a genuine hazard to the residents of those structures. Last Thursday, the Kuwait Municipality launched a campaign in cooperation with the Kuwait Fire Force to inspect the violating stores in investment properties in the six governorates to ensure that their owners comply with the requirements of the Kuwait Fire Force.
