MINISTRY OF HEALTH LAUNCHES THE SERVICE OF NOTIFYING THE MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION OF PATIENT THROUGH 'SAHEL'

Kuwait City:  Ministry of Health launched a new service through the “Sahel” application, which consists of notifying the patient's medical prescription and a statement of the prescription for frequently dispensed medicines and chronic diseases.


The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad announced the activation of linking the dispensing of medicines in primary health care centers “in the current stage” through the unified government application for electronic services (easy), under the directives and follow-up of the Minister of Health. Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Mustafa Reda.

This was stated by the Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Health Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Eng. Ahmed Al-Gharib said that notifications of dispensing medicines for children under 16 years of age will be sent to the child's guardian during the upcoming stages of developing the service.
