MISHREF VACCINATION CENTER IN KUWAIT CLOSED

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health closed the Kuwait Center for Vaccination against Covid-19 in Mishref after nearly a year and a half of diligent work by the health heroes, who made great efforts at work during this period, as the vaccination campaign began in December 2020, and on this occasion, the head of Nursing at the Kuwait Vaccination Center met Najat Al-Rajaib in honor of the center's nursing on the last working day, where she praised the efforts of all nursing staff during the center's work period.


With the closure of the Kuwait Vaccination Center, the Ministry of Health launched the vaccination service against Covid-19 in 16 health centers, and the service will be provided from Sunday to Thursday every week from 3 pm to 8 pm.

The Ministry of Health has designated Abdul Rahman Al-Zayd Health Center in West Mishref to provide immunization services with the Pfizer vaccine (the first and second doses for children from 5 to 12 years old, the “third” booster dose from 12 to less than 18 years old, and the “fourth” booster dose from 50 and over). .

The Ministry of Health approved the remaining 15 health centers to provide the vaccination service with the “Moderna” vaccine, represented in 3 centers in the Capital Health District, which are “Sheikha Fattouh Salman Al-Sabah Health Center, Jassem Al-Wazzan Health Center, Jaber Al-Ahmad Health Center 1”, and in the Hawalli Health District, 3 centers have been allocated. Also, it is “Salwa Specialized Health Center, Mahmoud Haji Haider Health Center, Rumaithiya Specialized Center.” As for Farwaniya Health District, “Al-Omariya Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Andalus” health centers were allocated, while the following centers were allocated in Al-Ahmadi Health District: “Fintas - Fahaheel Specialist - Al-Adan Specialized", as well as the "Al-Naeem - Al-Ayoun - Saad Al-Abdullah - Block 10" centers in the Jahra Health District.
