SCHOOLS NOT READY FOR NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Education's concerned departments are working against the clock to prepare for the next school year, despite the fact that much work remains to be done in terms of maintenance and air conditioning.


According to sources, ministry officials have increased their efforts to address deficiencies prior to the opening of schools. Sources expressed concern about the delay in preparations, citing the numerous requests and reports from educational districts, particularly the need for comprehensive school maintenance and renovation. 

Sources revealed these reports include the renovation and painting of fences, toilets, floors, sewage and water networks; maintenance of air conditioning and fire prevention systems and playgrounds; repair of landings and walkways; roof insulation; construction of canopies, electrical maintenance and other works.
