KUWAIT MINISTRY OF INTERIOR WILL SUSPEND LICENSES OF DELIVERY COMPANIES THAT VIOLATE LAW

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Commerce, Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition held a meeting today based on the instructions of the Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Khalid Al Ahmed Al Sabah and Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs of the Ministry of Interior Major General Jamal Al Sayegh. The meeting was against the backdrop of requests to coordinate and set a mechanism and requirements for delivery companies.


The meeting aims to establish several conditions. A certificate from the Ministry of Health will be mandatory for the delivery driver. The sticker of the company involved in the delivery vehicle should be affixed in coordination with the Kuwait Municipality. The important requirements are that the driver must wear a uniform whether it is a vehicle or a motorcycle. The Ministry of Home Affairs has warned that the rules must be strictly followed, failing which the licenses of the companies will be suspended.
