TRAFFIC CAMPAIGN AGAINST VIOLATING TAXIS CONTINUE TO PRESERVE KUWAIT'S CIVILISED IMAGE

Kuwait City: The General Department of Relations and Security Media at the Ministry of Interior stated that, based on the instructions and directives of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, to conduct daily security and traffic campaigns on irregular taxis (private vehicles) that load passengers at Kuwait International Airport. The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Traffic Investigation Department, launched a traffic campaign at Kuwait International Airport. The campaign resulted in the arrest of 20 violators, and all necessary legal measures were taken against them.


She pointed out that the traffic campaigns on the violating taxis continue on a daily basis in order to preserve the civilized image of the State of Kuwait, and that the visitor, upon arrival, deals with the authorized taxi, given that the airport is the real face of Kuwait.

The Ministry warns the brothers arriving from traveling against renting these vehicles, which are in violation of their danger to arrivals, as the taxis authorized to work at the airport are driven by trained drivers.
