KUWAITIS BOUGHT EMIRATI SHARES FOR 31 MILLION DINARS IN 7 MONTHS

Kuwait City: The Kuwaitis' purchases of Emirati shares on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange last July, at a value of 22.05 million dirhams (equivalent to 1.84 million dinars), and these purchases come in line with the rise of the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange index in July, as the market rose by 3.6% to reach The level of 9648.96 points with the rise of the sectoral indices for financial, real estate, communications and energy stocks.


During the past 7 months, from the beginning of the year until the end of last July, Kuwaitis' purchases of shares in the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange amounted to 371.05 million dirhams (equivalent to 31.03 million dinars) and sales operations worth 447.30 million dirhams ( equivalent to 37.41 million dinars), to be net selling transactions. Since the beginning of the year, a value of 76.25 million dirhams (equivalent to 6.38 million dinars).

At the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, we find that the Gulf nationals made their purchases on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange during the month of July by about 333.10 million dirhams (equivalent to 27.86 million dinars), and sales operations worth 214.85 million dirhams (equivalent to 17.97 million dinars), bringing their net purchasing transactions during the month at a value of 118.24 million dirhams (equivalent to 9.9 million dinars).

The net value of Kuwaiti investors' trading in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, selling during the month of July, amounted to about 2.74 million dirhams, equivalent to (230 thousand dinars), through purchases amounting to 22.05 million dirhams (equivalent to 1.84 million dinars) ) and sales operations amounting to 24.80 One million dirhams (equivalent to 2.07 million dinars).
