ESTABLISHMENT OF 10 CLOSED JOINT-STOCK COMPANIES IN 5 MONTHS

Kuwait City: An official source in the Department of Joint Stock Companies at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry revealed that the number of new joint stock companies that were established since the beginning of this year until the end of last May (5 months) amounted to 10 companies, all of which are closed joint stock companies.


The source said that the total of the new main commercial licenses issued since the beginning of the year until the end of last May amounted to 23 licenses, including two for public joint stock companies and 21 new licenses for closed joint stock companies.

On the other hand, the source confirmed that the total number of new auditors' and auditors' licenses issued during the same period amounted to only 3 practicing licenses.
